Roma, Italia

IMG_4683

A huge waiting line in front of a big door.

You wonder if it’s worth it.

You could just turn around and walk away, visit something else.

But you decide to stay.

As for a restaurant – you think – a line is usually a good sign.

You wait patiently, reading your travel guide in the meantime.

You hear people speak Italian, Spanish, and some other language that you don’t quite recognise.

It’s finally your turn.

You move forward, your camera ready.

You can’t put words on the beauty you see.

Trees, flowers – all leading to the incredible view of the Basilica.

You leave, yet again impressed by this city.

Where even a simple keyhole can surprise you.
